Just trying to figure out some cheap things I can do to the camp trailer when I hit my 6 off next week.

You have any experience with JB Weld? I need to fill 6 holes in the roof of an aluminum camper shell.

Guys here are starting rattle about standby shifts and equity of time...not sure it'll go any where. There are Fed rules about state of emergency and what not. Guess we'll see.

It'll plug 'em, no problem I should think. Read the labels carefully, I think there's different concoctions for aluminum or steel, IIRC.

Don't see why it wouldn't work. That plunger system is nice too. I think that's what I used on the ATV bumper, but that was at least 10 years ago.

 

Yep, I used that in an enclosed trailer we used for sleeping in on hunting trips about 10 yrs ago. It works well.

 

I also plan to run 320W(2 panels) of Renogy flexible solar panels and a 5000btu A/C. It's a 450W unit with a peak of around 850W on start up. I haven't really study on what all I'll need for the solar. I know I'll need a controller, inverter, etc. I just don't know how many batteries and the small details.....or if I'll just need to get a quiet generator(generac iq2000) for the A/C.

Used it in the south wall of my (uninsulated) garage. Made a difference. Also used it in our last camper.
