    Nope, I’m in So cal and I don’t go to the snow, we’ve got some rain though. The truck gets really dusty in the job site but it’s a mall crawler. Also I do this about 6 times a year and use lots of 303.

    Removing a stock piece and replacing it with something new = modifying. So yes an oil fill cap is a mod. A fresh tank of gas is not a mod, you’re not permanently changing anything. To answer your question

    Dont sell yourself short.....wiring isn't black magic..its actually a little easier (little mind you) then it appears....find a wiring diagram of the unit, and spend some time looking at it, a little research for symbol meanings etc....the wires are identifiyed as are the terminals they go to......I wud think there is help on you tube...its fubar now, you got nothing to loose.... if its the physical compressor hook up thats screwed I understand your reluctance....
