Yakima Q Towers, Round Crossbars, Clips, Pads, Fairing, FatCat 6

Yakima roof rack for sale:

2x 58" Crossbars, 4 Q towers, 4x Q46 clips, 4x A pads, and a pair of FatCat 6 ski/snowboard holders. I also have a 34" Limited Edition 35th anniversary Yakima fairing. All in great condition. Further pics upon request. I'd like to sell it all as a whole, looking for $375, but am open to offers. I also have a TON of SKS lock cores and the fairing locks for extra.

What do these fit? Will they fit a shell Yakima rack system?

 

I'm not certain on that. The towers are designed for naked roofs, but just like you can get the clips specific to your application, I believe some companies make the clips with a t-nit attaching point for use on rail systems. If the S towers don't work for your application, the Yakima Control Towers are likely what you are looking for. As for the width of the bars: just throw a measuring tape up there and if the rails are under 58" apart, then you should be fine. The system is modular and adaptable to your setuplong as the bars are the right length and pending you can find those t-slot clips. If not, look at control towers. I can always sell everything to you without the Q towers for a bit cheaper!

 

My system is 54” on my shell. Yes the towers is what I’m needing so I can haul my kayak. Will that fit in my track system

 

You need control towers, but the rest of my system should work. That 54" is the overall length of the rail, not the distance between the two (a.k.a. distance between driver's side rail to passenger's side rail). You need to know the distance between the two. Like I said: I'm happy to pull the towers off and send you the rest for a discount. That, or there may be an aftermarket adapter to use the Q Tower for a rail system. I'll leave that research in your court should you so choose.
