You may have better luck ordering a bidet or hose attachment than finding TP. Not sure where it's all going . I know a few folks who have found it randomly typically earlier in the day. Not sure your schedule but I'd try for a weekday morning and just plan a few store stops to try and find it.

I've been trying to find some to resale in our store, I stopped by the grocery store 3 times this week on my way to my other job at 7 am and no luck. Not sure what time they put it out in the mornings but I would say your right mornings are best. Maybe I can slip away from work about 9 in the morning and see.

What is a verbal write up? Like a verbal warning or did they put a pen in their mouth and write you up? Asking for a friend

 

Coming off 6 days straight.
I've had a lot more deliveries than "normal".

Since the pharmacy itself is closed, it's drive-thru only, and there's a long line of cars at any given time.
The clerks are all busy with that and setting up accounts over the phone, taking CC info, etc.
They really hustle, trying to keep the wait short, but some people get nasty about it.
Customers are encouraged now to set up accounts.
Handling a lot of currency or credit cards (or those signing thingies) is not something the clerks especially want to do.
They have gloves and hand sanitizer, but still...

They're all very tired.
Mrs Gritto works as a clerk there as well. (It's her part-time semi-retirement job).
So I had the inside track on the job when a driver /delivery guy quit.

I'm still my usual asshole self, teasing and joking.
But everyone is feeling the strain right now and the laughter is rather weak.

I'd hate to be a health care worker in all this.
I mean those actually caring for patients.
They're all doing the best they can.

A small lot (a couple boxes of TP six packs) came in a couple days ago but none of it is for sale.
The staff got it all.
Mrs Gritto snagged one.

 

I’m working at the TP plant today. I scored a case off of a guy that works here. They get it dirt cheap and he has a stockpile in his garage so I just have to stop by his house later. They only make it into huge rolls at this mill and truck it to a different plant to process it or I would have a shitload already. The only thing I’ve been able to find at stores is single ply junk. It’s like Wiping your ass with Saran Wrap.
