My wife was viciously attacked by her grandparents German Shepherd. My best friend was viciously attacked by 3 German Shepherds. Both had to go to the hospital. My wife had to have plastic surgery & my friend got a ton of stitches inside & outside his lower leg. I hate those damn dogs. I've been attacked by several dogs but they were always smaller & didn't do much damage. I've ran a bunch of 911 EMS calls where people were attacked, almost all of them by Pit Bulls, due to the population where I work. I've had 4 pits & they were all great but when they're not great, they're really bad.

I am seeing a theme here. Our shepherd is good around people, but for some reason if i'm there and someone comes too close she flips the fuck out. Still working on that with her, but otherwise she's a good dog, albeit a bit of a buttface. Also very well exercised so running away from her is not an option. Found that out as she got older and i went to grab one of her toys. Not only did she sprint across this large yard before i could move 5 feet. She then proceeded to lay down her party trick, which is running between your legs and then using her paw to grab your leg and trip you. I don't know how she learned this...

    ...too much shit to list.
Was picking up my sister in Reno to head out to Ultra4 Nationals. Literally just parked my truck on the street and got out of the driver's seat and fur missile headed strait for me. I stuck out my arm and he latched. Beat the fucker off with my other hand and he ran off. Ironically I almost always carry, but there are no firearms allowed at the race so I had put my pistol under the seat. No idea who's dog it was. Never found it or the owner. My best guess is the dog was threatened by my truck or something (exhaust is fucking loud).

I still made it to Nationals around noon. The nice lady working the booth felt bad seeing my arm in a sling all doped up on pain killers and nerve pills. She gave both my sister and I free tickets after I told her what happened.

I have 2 on my route.... one cool has hell, but a pain in my butt. The other is psycho AF! Do not trust him at all. We are working on it though. Only happens when I go to leave. Freaks the hell out, charges me from behind or lunges from the side as I am walking by.

at least you were able to get the fucker to let go. Also that's crazy stuff i would never expect to happen. Going in someone's yard/home, yeah, but just getting out of your truck is nuts. Glad you're okay

That's horrible. How extensive were the injuries to require that?

My buddy's wife was dragged off of a bicycle a few years ago by a pitbull. I just had him send me some pics. She also had to have screws put in her shoulder. This is her leg

@StayinStock I looked at my plate collection and can only come up with “waccabamx” I’ll keep searching.

I did find the one I had on a convertible mustang once.
