    Why are body lifts so bad? Would a 1” one be bad? Does it lift the whole truck or how does it work?

    1" is fine and it lifts the body of the truck only, just like the name of it says "body" lift

    Toytec makes a good quality kit.

    They can be cheap/ sketchy and break.
    Also leaves a gap between the body and the bumpers, but can be fixed.
    I don't really see anything wrong with them, as long as you buy quality parts.

    Skids, sliders, bumpers, etc... all need to be modified/adjusted to fit with a body lift, since they all attach to the frame.
