Supposedly you get an extra 500 or so with the Covid checks for every dependent/child you have, but ours was born Jan 6th of this year and not claimed on taxes yet so I think we get screwed out of that one lol. Oh well

You don’t get one if you’re claimed as a dependent, from what I read anyway

I haven't read that but it makes sense considering your parents get extra $ for every dependent. Gonna have to ask mom/dad for that stimulus check :D

I thought they get money from kids under 18 or whatever. Honestly I have no idea, I don’t expect one or really want one either way, I like my tax return, saves me every year haha.

yeah I haven't looked into it much. Other people need it way more than I do but I won't turn down $1200 either way, just not gonna go asking for it. If it shows up it shows up, I'll buy my new tires or maybe a winch with it.

yeah that's what I figured, so probably not extra for the kid. Although my wife was telling me that they are doing it for kids based off whether or not they have social security numbers, which she does, so maybe we will see more for her. Guess I'll find out
