    When I was about 6 we were just sitting down to dinner when some neighbors brought over a nice steak bone for our lab. She was a great dog but don’t even think about taking a bone from her.
    She was gnawing on it under the table, facing me while we ate.
    I dropped my fork and reached down for it. There was a split second there where I was staring her in the face, then Chomp! right on my face & nose.
    Not a really serious bite, but had multiple scabs on my face for a week or so.
