I can top that and I really wish I couldn't. Idiots around here can't drive when it's dry. I live near Aspen, which is home away from home for some of the world's richest and dumbest. Which is why despite the pandemic, we still have people showing up almost daily.

To be fair, the same idiots are nearly as dangerous on foot.

    None... yet.
Not much. Or at least not much relative to most of the systems I was looking at; I paid a little over $300, and everything else I was looking at was about a hundred bucks more than that, plus the cost of the Maestro, but none of them looked as good in the dash as this one... this flat-out looks stock once its installed.

This is the system, but right now it's showing as sold out: email Joying and ask them if you're interested, for a Chinese company I've found them to be pretty responsive--even when they were on lockdown due to COVID. As I said, it's a little fidgety, but hot damn does it look good. And once you spend a couple of hours fiddling with various options and whatnot, I find it works almost perfectly.

I didn't buy a kit, just an actuator. Already had the wiring and sound deadening material. I agree that most of the sound is coming from the locking mechanism and not the actuator itself. I did get a rod and shape it like another member suggested and it has made it where it is not as loud when I lock and unlock it. I have another rod and may even try again to see if I can make it even better than it is now. I'm bored being home right now so it will give me something to do. :)

I bought a foam cannon also, can't wait to hook it up and try it out. Just waiting for a few days with no rain.

How does the signal look at night? Is it still legal when changed to white instead of amber?

Hey, we shop at the same place. I installed a few to parallel with my reverse lights and illuminate my hitch at night which has a manual switch in the box to turn them on.

Since I am working at home and can't focus I have been taking a bunch of time off, Last time I visited my Dad he gave me a compressor he had used for his air springs in his hot rod prior to going a different route. Based on a few TW threads, I bought a few parts and now have on board air. Total cost since compressor as free, 40 bucks. Has a pressure shutoff so compressor does not keep fighting itself. Blue condom looking thing is cap over quick release air hose attachment until I can get a proper cover to prevent dust intrusion when not in use. Placed over on passenger side since TRD OR has a nice big open spot there. The toggle was one I had in my parts bin. Probably upgrade it to a more waterproof one very shortly, though it is fused if it gets wet

Added a cup holder (magic number 15!)

Even used the plug in the bed to drill the plastic before bolting it to the rail. And yes, it came with drainage holes already in the holder.
