Oh, I’ve been around.

 

Her g'parents dog grabbed her by the back of the neck & flung her across the room. Then it ran over & grabbed her by the face & began shaking her. She was 4 & her dad said she was flung around like a doll. He got her from it, picked it up & slammed it against the garage wall. They left & never went back to their house because the g'parents refused to get rid of the dog.

 

That's absolutely horrifying. How is she now? And I would have gotten rid of the dog immediately

I lost my job at the bank on my very first day. A woman asked me to check her balance, so I pushed her over

 

It is horrifying.
I would have gone berserk.

That incident had to have stayed with that poor little girl.
Physical and emotional scars.

 

The wife says her throat is getting sore

They were saying they needed blood donations so I tried. But they ask too many questions.

"Who's blood is this?"

Since we're talking about dog attacks...

I had dogs on the farm growing up.
The regulars here have suffered through a few of my stories.
But people really gotta control their dogs.
Or else.

Just a few weeks ago I went for a walk.
I was passing this one house owned by a middle-aged gal.
She had taken up with a neer-do-well boyfriend.
He had, you guessed it...a pit bull.

It was a warmish day and that dog blasted through their screen door right at me.
I stood my ground and held my fists out and yelled at him to back off.
Which he did, and asshole boyfriend came out and got him.
No apology.

I was glad Mrs Gritto wasn't with me.
A couple days later we go for a walk.
"What's that big stick for?"
"Be glad I'm not packing heat." (I would have gladly shot the dog, but that would have been a hassle.)
Then I told her the deal.

Nothing happened.
Mrs Gritto told me a few days ago that the problem solved itself.
Asshole boyfriend got booted out.

Okay...call me a cold hearted bastard.
I've killed many problem critters and pests in my life.
I'm not having any of it.
