Just found this thread. Don't exactly have time to read 494 pages so I'll just throw this out there. Scored these at Thanksgiving.

 

my haul today. no, the Everclear isn't to make hand sanitizer. It's for making some apple pie.

 

While it's not the 17 year old, it's still pretty tasty

lol that's my bother in law, they're out in McKinney. we're in Denton and are basically creating our entire universe between our two families right now. he's in this weird position and it looks like two people but that's just him.

Braved the outside world today and it was a worthwhile adventure. Costco had a few different things they don't stock regularly. I ended up with the ECSB that I am very impressed with for the price. The also had the Four Roses small batch which was a bit overpriced compared to other places plus 1.75l bottles of 1792 small batch.

 

WT Rare Breed for me tonight. Love it. Wish I tried it sooner.

Another sherry bomb. This one initially seems more malt forward than other cask strength sherry scotches. Gives it more if a whisky feel than a wine feel. I like it! I'll let it open up for a few weeks and then line it up next to four or five other sherry bombs to compare.

 

Finally cracked this 2019-04 Booker's and I've gotta say it... 2019 was not my year for Booker's batches. I'm sure this one will be better when I come back to it in a few weeks.

Went to Golden Gai last fall when we were in Japan, this brings me back.
