Yesterday was my last day at the private gym I go to until this saga is over. Leg day so that was a fun way to go out for now... 83 confirmed cases in the county I live in. Although there is a limited number of people who are members and sanitizer is everywhere, some newbies are taking advantage of a dying breed gym and bringing in non members.. the risk has become too high.. I have powerblocks that only go up to 60's.. nothing else.. time to check Craigslist. I work at a facility on 400+ acres.. there are running trails and whatever the stations they set up in parks are called..pull ups, etc.. crazy times all!! Stay safe and be well:)

my gym was still open today as well (for all the reasons stated earlier: employees only, only employees with gym membs, and a google sheet where people have to pick their workout slots so only 1 person can be in there at a time). I did front squats, bench, chin ups, curls, calves and forearms/grip. I was able to do 2 chin ups from my tip toes without assistance/jumping YAY! felt good, but the rest were super hard. It was a tough day but I love feeling my forearms talking to me. Love getting a good sweat on. Though I did have to use the last 5mins of my hour time slot wiping down everything I touched in there which was a little weird but it felt like a nice cooldown.

tomorrow i go for a mile run again, lets see what I can do. this will be the first time the run is wedged in between two lifting workouts so my legs might not be as cooperative as I will want them to be, but getting the blood pumping and muscles moving will still be good. cant hit a PR everyday right?

So a few pages back I was talking about some people from my old childhood church that got this virus. They are up around 10 people total from that church now infected, most are older and still on ventilators in the hospital. I found out last night a handicap kid I grew up with (I say kid but he's probably 35 now) passed away last night from this covid-19. He caught it from one the members of this church. He had CP and his lungs couldn't recoup after a week on a ventilator.

What pisses me off beyond belief is that they were all coming together to pray and worship at this church... Thinking they could pray the virus away beforehand and that God would protect them. Well now because of their ignorance an innocent person has died. He had no choice and was just there because his parents take him with them. But now it's "gods plan for him to go".... This poor kid couldn't be around his parents or anyone he knew while he was sick and dying and had to have been terrified. They couldn't see him until he was almost gone and heavily sedated.

But you know, "it was in God's hands"... No. How about you take some personal responsibility and stay the fuck at home to protect your child! I hate people so much.

Sorry needed to rant. Back to gym stuff.

Yeah, I just learned how to make pizza dough this week. My lady made sauce from scratch red and white. So far we've had pizza three times this week. The trails behind my house have been good for running and walking pups but need weights. On week 3 of gym closed and working from home... starting to set in and need to make shift some work out stuff in my garage.

This sucks. Bigger case recently was the March in Spain not long ago, well into what should have been social distancing time and was for many other places. Now Spain has some 100k cases and about 9k dead.

NYC too, with mayor and others encouraging subways and festivals well past when other places were taking covid seriously... Now they're hit hard.

Many should have taken this more seriously!

This is Very sad. I’m so sorry to hear that people close to you are suffering and that poor guy lost his life. It just isn’t right how that was handled in my opinion. Keep yourself & family/loved ones safe by making healthy, educated decisions.

Took the dogs for a jog tonight, I slowed down a little after the first mile but it felt good.
Athena (blonde dog) needs to work on her sprints, she was trailing behind Smokey and I on the sprint home.

FDA relaxed their blood donation rules for gay men because of COVID-19.

Instead of abstaining from sex for a year we only have to abstain for 3 months.
Woo Hoo gigantic steps forward for the LGBTQ community *obvious sarcasm*

I’m kind if tired of the half ass tries to equalize our society that really just turn out to be big fuck yous.

We try to be science based and intelligent when it comes to addressing pandemics but still exercise immense intentional ignorance elsewhere.

    Anyways rant over.

Is 3 months how long it takes for the blood to lose its gay gene? I mean I don't wanna get a blood transfusion and be turned gay by all that gay blood....

Cause that's how it works right?...

    Pretty much.

I mean thats how they’ve determined spread. The gay virus lives on for approx 90 days and if it doesn’t find a heterosexual cell to infect it dies.

Also ALL gay men have HIV. And it miraculously goes away if we don’t do butt stuff with a man for 3 months.

I can fuck an HIV pos woman all day long. Theres no waiting period there. Because as we know HIV is not transmittable by heterosexual people.
