That’s pretty good! I have to admit that $2.59 is pretty good for being on an island.

The article Tullie D posted listed a town in WI that has gas for $.99. That’s insane!

Prices back in the UK are just plain stupid, but at least my taco in the Uk would come with a Diesel engine

If you want a textured look similar to the texture of the inner portion of the rear bumper, go with Ecoological Textured Black TPO Bumper Covers. @eCOOL1 is a member here on the forum and provides excellent customer service! Below is a photo of the covers installed on my previous Tacoma as well as a web link.

Never a problem with us Bud! Life is way too short, especially these days. All in fun and never with any animosity attached to it.
Watched the same series but got bored since they never seem to find anything of value. Curse of Oak Island has managed to keep me watching that but I wish they'd hurry up and find something. I'd be happy if they found a Tacoma 140' down..........something!!!

    I HAVE A QUESTION! 3” lifted fronts”
For all you guys that have lifted your truck. I am doing a 3 inch in the front and 2 inch in the back left and I have bought the Bill Steen 5100s B8s that are adjustable in the front with the ring. What ring number did you put the ring in with a 3 inch lift in the front?

Every time I've been to Hawaii, it always surprises me just how busy the Costco gas stations are!

I had the Bilstein 5100s on my first gen. I believe the snap ring has a maximum lift of 2". More than that requires a longer spring. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Just as a comparison, regular gas her in Ontario is around 65.5c/L.

Correct, I know that much. The lift I’m doing is the puck above the coil. So my thinking is I put the 5100 on the lowest setting (no lift) because I technically don’t want to lift within the spring at all because I’ve already lifted the truck via the puck and that shouldn’t affect the spring length. Does that sound right?

Are you upgrading the front coil springs as well. This will give you a natural boost in lift before adjusting the ring position. On a similar note, I'm installing the 5100s in a few weeks but only going up 1x notch while using my OEM springs. This should give me a modest 1" lift. I don't want my front geometry to be effected too much.

No, just the puck om top. The lift I’m doing is the puck above the coil. I believe adding the puck will still virtually extend the length of the coil spring which will effect the front end geometry. iMO, I would not recommend a 3" lift this way.
Regarding the rear lift you are doing. What are you using to do this? I installed this RMAS kit in my Taco. It gave me the lift I was after as well as improved handling when truck is loaded or pulling my pop up camper. Note, the system is independently adjustable so the left side can be adjusted to compensate for the Taco lean.

If I didn't have to haul a kayak on top or long wood boards.....I'd get that roll bar. Looks just like the one I had back in the 90's! Looks great! And, your retrax looks good....please give us updates on your thoughts of it as time goes on.

A Darby or similar bed extender that fits in your hitches receiver will allow you to haul your kayak, canoe or lumber using your trucks bed. Use mine all the time to haul the same things. For around $80 you'll wonder how you ever got by without one.
