    Is it one lever for each rear wheel? Could be interesting starting from inclines (pressing both buttons to release both levers at the same time).

    SAS is a shortcut to front digs

    It all begins with ditching the front

    Ok so actual technical question;

    i'm hearing knocking/ a bit of a thud noise from my passenger front suspension, at least that's what i believe it to be... knock is muffled a bit but, no sharp metallic sounds, and usually lasts 1 or 2 hits at most before it stops

    rocking the truck side to side while driving by half turn left, half turn right, and repeat or just loading the front right by going over speed bumps or whatever that causes the passenger front to bottom out(?) triggers it.

    If i'm flat on the road, nothing seems to be out of tune, truck drives straight at least as straight as it does on KO2s

    but anything that that i should check first?
    Never done suspension work before (and that's why i 've been actually putting of the upgrade) but i'm assuming some bolt was loosened from running up snow/ice banks but wouldn't know where to start...

    Edit;
    video/audio from the dash cam, brings it but a bit clearer

    Jack the truck up and check your sway bar, ball joints, tie rod. Rad support mounts do wear out within 12 months to a dust, check them too.
    Your pads might also make that noise if the retainer spring is weak, that's why I recommend have 2 on each caliper when you service your brakes once every 6 months, I hope you do :anonymous:

    Might need to recheck the swaybar, but it doesn't feel like that would be the case. I took it off 2-3 weeks ago when i tried to install the reinforcement brackets, made sure it was as the Germans say, Gootentight.

    i'll check the rad supports but i can't imagine that to be the case
    Ball joint or the tie rod are 2 i'm going to need to check, but how? Shove a prybar and push on it to see if it rocks around?

    breaks have been squeaking the last month now, but the knocking started up this week. but checking it every 6 months? I don't think i've checked em since i bought the thing :anonymous:

    It's my first guess but hadn't checked it last night.
    Figured i'd ask if anyone would have an idea

    3" lift. $10K in TRD options. Richie's semi-hidden bumper, and soon his Elka suspension
    Are you able to repeat the noise by rocking it stationary? You could lay under the front and "bench press" it to get an up close and personal look at what might be moving or knocking. I've been able to isolate almost all my gremlins that way... be sure to block the tires and e-brake on.
    Maybe you have to replace that suspension now after all! Lift time :D

    i noticed it last night, but i know i can repeat with while driving.

    Yes I step on my brakes at least once every 6 months to check their operation.
    :)

    What Norilsk said above and also check body mounts.
    There are polyurethane replacements out there that last way longer than OEM ones made out of Santoprene.
    There are a couple threads on TW about rad and body mounts being an issue making knocking sounds.
    Rad mounts looking fine until they actually pulled them out and they were completely shot.

    this differentiates a dumb consumer vs automotive enthusiast. Toyota calipers require service quiet often if you offroad

    they seize quiet easy if not taken care of, I had already had to change one caliper at 40K kms due to mud getting trapped and destroying pistons.

    clean, lubricate, blow all the dirt with air and reapply anti seize on backing plates of the pads while checking suspension system etc...
