If you want dirty "innards" go for Ha-bibs fuel,, or other no name. I worked for Shell for 381/2 yrs. they watch their "name" closely,, like was said, they add their additives and Ha-bib doesn't get theirs even if it's Shell bulk. They had a room full of motors at the lab running 24/7 pull em down and inspect for their claims.

I haven't tested it in a while but i had to convince my wife in her Honda accord a few years back, figured Ha-bibs mileage after a couple of tanks recorded it, then told her to run the Shell, one tank to clean out and then a couple for the test,, it came out cheaper per gallon per mile for the Shell or lets say Chevron, even with it being more expensive at least it did in the Houston area.

That's the only two I tested back in the day and this was before the pumps being labeled "top tier fuels".

Kinda like the BG products, most people don't believe in em, but I do. My taco failed emissions every year since I owned it because of the snot nosed kid that had it before me ignoring check engine lights and not changing oils. Every year since then I'd run the BG 44k to help out on mileage and cleaning the tank. I noticed the "test" getting better and better every year, still failing but closer. This past year it passed on it's own, barely, but it passed so it did clean the C.C. up a little which is what was failing.

Just as long as you know it's a placebo, you are free to spend your money how you wish.

But just so you know, every time I fill up, that's a 6-pack's worth of savings.

i did have to file a complaint with Shell HQ regarding the station I filled up at a few days ago
the restroom was 'out of order' so i was unable to thoroughly wash and sanitize my hands after filling up, it was unacceptable
... had to try very hard not to touch my face until i could make it down the road to the discount station and use the facilities there

I filed a complaint with Shell once too, they have a sign in their bathroom that says "employees must wash hands" I waited and waited and no employee ever came and washed my hands. I left mad and dirty.

I spend several benjamins when I get the Taco at Toyota Dealership

BG products have their own equipment and process to clean up
All the fluids got changed for Synthetic BG products,
If regulare fluids were in a 14 year old truck, ( regardless of 55K miles on it only)
I think I can run these BG products for another 10 yrs\ 100K miles whatever comes 1st.:cheers:
Mobil 1 and MOA 115 BG product , way to go yearly
Exxon Mobil app way to go for gas
It's like beer prfferances ..... everyone has their opinion :drunk:

I've seen gas as low as $1.49 at a few places, most are in the $1.50-$1.70 range. I have a friend who is a tanker driver, he drops the same gas at all of the stations.

About the only thing available here has 10% ethanol. There are a few stations that will carry 100% gas, but they are 50 cents or more per gallon. I've tried a tank or so and got worse fuel mileage than with 10% ethanol. I've not seen anyone with E85 within 500 miles of here. I've seen some in western states while traveling.

Did you know you can get the lifetime warranty on the parts with their (BG) fluids in. Don't cost a extra penny, just changing fluids like you should, unless you're (generic term here not you) like the snot nosed kid I referenced earlier, that refuses to maintain a vehicle.

You took the time to file a complaint?
Out of curiosity, if the facilities were unable to be used how would you have handled the situation if you were the owner?
There is going to be time between when something breaks and when the repairman/plumber will arrive....

Or you could keep hand sanitizer in all of your vehicles like I do. Pretty simple.

So what would you have done differently if you were the owner?

What are you trying to gain or accomplish by contacting HQ?

I just wish they would replace the mints. The ones they have in the bathroom taste horrible.

So if the restroom is not functioning are you expecting an instantaneous fix? Seriously...I don't understand this.

Generally, the attendant notifies the manager who then contacts a repair company which then comes out later in the day or a day later to fix the problem.

What is the point of the complaint especially if you didn't even discuss it with the person working?

To me that is not only ridiculous but not even remotely reasonable. Have you ever had a customer facing job in your life?

You said you had Lysol wipes, use them and move on. Not only that, but it is much more risky to go inside the facility where other people are or have touched other things that you may have come into contact with.

    OME and worth every penny.
I run the cheapest gas I can find in my truck and whatever my commuter is.

That said, when I had some pretty hot bikes with ignition advance plates and bigger pistons (compression, heat, detonation) they definitely benefitted from Shell 93. Just a opin though, I wasn't going to pay dyno time to find out. Cheaper to just buy gas to hot rod around.

Now if I was just going 100 miles down a hwy. (at speed limit) I'd put in anything.

Coronavirus is probably the LAST thing you should be worried about catching in a gas station bathroom. Even the "clean" ones are fucking disgusting.

Corporate isn't going to have the faintest clue why a franchisee's bathroom wasn't up to your particular standards.

That said, they are likely working on skeleton crews because of social distancing.

I suggest this to protect yourself:
