Thank you, that’s very helpful. I didn’t know I could use Ohm’s Law without the missing variable I, or current. I’ve got a 1 watt and 5 watt 20 ohm resistor on order, I’ll see if I can get a 10 watt.

Not exactly sure what amperage the heater circuit pulls. I can’t find a figure anywhere.

That’s what I thought too but they started to dry rot over time and that hole is just close to the edge of the material. Here’s the area to keep an eye on.

I’m still extremely happy with them though.

@Wsidr1 has a good approach - just assume its 12 or 14V and go from there.

Looks like the wrong material is being used here if they can't last more than a few years... Not sure if it is environmental or the UV exposure that caused them to deteriorate, but that makes me happy that I've been waiting to pick up a set.

Looks like it’s starting to crack in the corner there too. When they showed up they were in plastic bags with some kind of oil on them. Maybe they need some oil rubbed on them every so often or something...

Started prototyping some stock switch mounts. I modeled these off a part I pulled from the junkyard.

This one is designed to be glued to the back of a stock dash piece after cutting the rectangle hole. It should make it sit flush. I’ve done this before by hacking apart dash pieces and gluing them on, but I figured it would be good to print my own when needed.

    Use Ohms law:
If you know resistance and you know voltage, use that to determine amperage.

Also, you can measure the resistance of the O2 sensor.
The voltage is constant @ 12-14v DC

Unless there is some sort of over engineered bimetallic sliding resistance within the O2 sensor, it should be constant.

Installed an aftermarket leather shift boot.

    Looks much better

The vinyl boot is pretty thin

The new leather boot is thicker so it needs
to be glued from the underside because it won't fit into the clips that qere for the thin vinyl.

The little lady ordered them for my birthday. They didn’t make it in time, I think he’s a one man operation.

I had an issue with my Yota liners after almost having them for a year. I reached out to the vendor and he replaced both sides and clips for free. They might be cheaper, but at least the guy stood by his product. I'd buy from him again.

Resurrected the driver side SRunner Sport bucket seat today!

The height adjustment rod was broken where it attached to the gear, and hence did not work at all. The dealers do not sell this part, and when they did it was part of the pricey seat track.
    20200402_181017.jpg

My buddy welded it up quick, and a turn of the knob showed it was working once again!
    20200404_141924.jpg

Got the seat put back together, all it needs is a good steam cleaning then this fully functioning pair will be ready to live on in the next truck!
