So, I placed an order today for some FJ Anthracite wheels from the dealer today. He said he would try to place the order, but thought Toyota would cancel the order without a Special Edition FJ Vin# that they would be going on...

    1. If you have ordered these, what has been your luck? Were you able to get them?

    2. If you did get them from the dealer, did they come with Lug Nuts and Center Caps?

    Thanks in advance.

I bought my FJ wheels from a Desert Rat shop in Tempe, They came with the center cap but I don't recall if they came with the lug nuts or if the shop provided them. I had no issues ordering them, it only took a week or so to get them delivered to the shop.

Did they re instate the limit? It was opened up to any buyer last November. Maybe your dealer doesn't know better :S

The part that worries me is that he said they tried to order them for a customer several weeks ago and it wouldn't go through. He said he didn't see any limitations on the computer. My fingers are crossed. I really like the wheels and will be bummed if I can't get them.

Honestly I would look at a diff set of wheels. When it opened up for all buyers everyone and their mother including myself bought a set.

You may want to check out this post. There is a guy who just ordered a set. He is willing to help out with a dealers name. There maybe a few dealers that have a full set in stock. You will need to call around and ask.

Seems lately Toyota has put the brakes on selling these wheels. I did not need a vin number when I ordered mine. I ordered mine through Toyota of Richardson, Texas. No issues, no problems.

I tried to get mine at a dealer last February. Didn't need a vin but he was having a heck of a time actually getting them in. They kept going on backorder. Luckly two weeks later frank motors had them on eBay so I grabbed them from him. I think it wad alittle over 600 with shipping. Bout whAt I would of paid at the dealer. Til this day it's still my favorite mod I did to my truck.
