CTD has once again proven what colossal pieces of shit they are by price gouging, just like the did after Newtown. I used to buy stuff from them, but never again.

yeah, they are very rarely the cheapest, although to do feel like I got a decent deal on my AR during the x-mas sale. And I really like my AR. Rock River rocks, lol.

My last couple of builds have been PSA kits on Aero lowers. Not a bad combo.

Yes indeed they're sewer shit! I have not bought anything from them since New town when they canceled my magazine order of 15 magpul 30 rd mags then turned around and started selling them at $58 when I paid $9.99 form them. Fuck them and I hope they rot in hell!

I've chosen Sierra 55gr BlitzKings for my defensive rounds. Ballistic tipped varmint rounds that "expand explosively" on impact. They are supposed to be almost as accurate as MatchKings, but I'm still working up a load for them. Of the six sub-MOA aggregate loads I have so far, only one is the 55gr BlitzKing and only one is the 69gr Matchking. The rifle seems to like the 60gr Tipped MatchKings the best so far, but I'm testing the 55gr and the 69gr with different powder in this next batch, so we'll see.

Of course, with the 55gr BlitzKings, it really doesn't matter if I can put 5 rounds in the equivalent of someone's eye socket at 100 yrds; it's just a point of pride. All they have to do it hit a badguy in the chest at 25 yrds or less to protect me and mine.

-MBT triggers are nice. I like mine.

-I just put some .22 rounds through a conversion kit that slides right into an AR lower, pretty good way to get familiar with your rifle and cheaply put some lead down range.

I used to live beachside, no thanks, I enjoy my little corner of Rockledge that time(and crime) has left alone.

Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
AR's in 22 long rifle are tons of cheap fun. I have a dedicated upper from Spikes that runs great. Mine is nearly 100% unless you rest the mag on something, then it tends to stovepipe.

When you can’t go out wheeling, build a 1/10th scale version and wheel in your garden/neighborhood.

well guys, it's been fun, but I got selected to work at Bismark Municipal Airport, North Dakota. FAA finally gave me my list the other week and I got my #2 choice. So will probably be moving here in the next month or so, my start date currently is June 21, just waiting on my Firm Offer Letter to start out my pay and I'll be set!
