To be fair he was older and wanted to talk about Wagoneers because he used to have one. Still annoying when it felt like he wasn't listening

The younger manager was picking it up enough to pull up the parts and show me the listing in their catalog and confirm what I was looking for

Hmm apparently masks made out of blue shop towels are far more effective at filtering particles than cloth or cotton based masks

    https://www.businessinsider.com/homemade-mask-using-hydro-knit-shop-towel-filters-better-2020-4

Not a replacement for a proper N95 mask of course, but given how those are nearly impossible to get right now and LA County is saying everyone should at least wear a cloth mask when doing errands, I think I'll try and use the shop towels. I've got several rolls of the stuff

Seriously lol better grab em now.

When I was at Harbor Freight a few days ago I grabbed a few rolls right before some dude came by and put the rest of them (including the huge industrial sized containers of them that they sell) in his shopping cart

I have 10 boxes of the blue shop rags.

    I got
A really good deal on them a few years ago at a discount store. I had 15 at one point

I do use them a lot.

but I also use red shop rags from work a lot and just take them in to get cleaned. The shop towels get extra dirty duty
