Best thing to do is, set up your laptop (I used to use a netbook), and do 2 runs in one gear and datalog.

Wait awhile, let the truck cool down, then go do 2 more runs in that same gear and datalog.

From there, we can see if you've got pinging, what your AFR is at, if you're pulling timing, etc.

Probably doesn't work with OSx I imagine. I don't have any old windows laptops that work.

You're already driving the truck as is being supercharged, so it's just a matter of seeing where you're at and dialing it in.

It isn't difficult, just time consuming because you'll go out and do some pulls, only to capture it all and come back home for review.

Once you pick it up, you'll do what I did and park on the side of the road as you make your adjustments :anonymous:

I was planning on installing the meth tomorrow so I'll probably get that done long before the computer goes in. I don't even know how to tune the meth.

I'd just eBay deal a high end laptop or netbook rather than buy new.

    Really?

    I'd do without.

What if something happens and he'll need to run without meth?

I don't know if the AEM FIC has the ability to hold two tunes but it'd be awesome to have the convenience of switching right away.

That and if he's going to learn to tune his truck, less moving parts is always easier I say.

honestly he probably doesnt need the FIC to tune what little boost hes running. meth should cover it all as is.
the FIC i dont think can hold two tunes.. its a fairly dated computer these days. at least i think it is.. i do plan on running one on my taco when its done..

Ah yeah...I'm so used to turbo cars.

I'm looking through my old photobucket of stuff; ugly welds but I had someone upgrade my exhaust manifold before I went big turbo -

    SNV13938.jpg

Made a difference in boost lag compared to stock paired with the bigger o2 housing

    Be badass.....

Damn I can't believe I forgot about this guy "M0le"

He was hugely popular, but had a ton of people that hated him. He had 2-3 SRT4's, one that ran drag radials up front lol fast as shit

    SNV13174.jpg

Since he was always upgrading shit, he'd hook me up with parts
