There is a lady named "Liz" at my local O'Reilly that knows how to find parts better than anyone I've worked with there. She is fast and accurate. Then there is another guy who is friends with my son. He would come over and work with us when he was in HS. He's good. New people -- take your chances.

The guys at Advance have all been there for years. I've been a customer at the same store since it opened. When I pull up, and they are not busy with another customer, they already have my name entered and have the menu open for whatever I'm driving. Sometimes I don't always drive the car that need parts for. But I appreciate the thoughtfulness.

NAPA people have been there for years. Though when not buying for Chevy it will be a special order.

Autozone has tremendous turnover. I don't think I've see the same person behind the counter twice.

There was an online Infiniti Dealer in Matthews NC that had the best price on Nissan parts in the country. That was providing Infiniti had a Nissan equivalent part number. They had customer service down to a science. They had a customer care phone system system that recognized my cell number, had my name and address stored, along with vehicles with VIN numbers. Just I just need to call, they took it from there.

When I would call the parts department, they would answer the phone: Good Afternoon Mr. S.... Are we working on the Q45 or I30 today? The personalized service would just blow me away. It was all made possible by their phone system being connected to their customer care and parts system.

How do you make a mask? I don't think I have mask here for anything. I bet everything in town is sold out. Maybe a place like Sherwin Williams Paints might have a painters mask. I do have some blue shop towels. Maybe that with some masking tape will work.

I do need to go to Harbor Freight -- though that would be the last place where I would want to go. The place is creepy enough as it is.

If you're seeing the large black and yellow Carpenter Bees around your house you may have Larvae in stud walls. Or just a Stoopid Woodpecker.

I haven't noticed any bees. It was here this time last year. I had new soffits and trim installed last summer along with a roof. It didn't come back until recently. I may need to get a plastic owl or hawk and put it on the roof scare it away. LOL

If push comes to shove, I'd try to find a way besides killing it. BUT if you have no other option, this thing has been decently accurate download.jpg

I had a 1994 3000GT for a while. Not a VR4 but it was still a fun car. I put a home grown short throw shifter on it, undersize crank pulley, lowered, built my own cat back exhaust that actually sounded good and put 18" wheels on it. Drove that thing from San Diego to San Fran a couple times, even up to Oregon once to pick up a carbon fiber hood for it. My ricer days you could say. Biggest bitch in the world changing spark plugs on it though. The front 3 plugs were like 5 minutes, easy to get to. The rear, not so much. Had to pull the intake manifold anytime you changed the plugs. Made it an almost 3 hour adventure. Same color as this one. I'll have to dig around to find an actual pic of it.

My gamo rifle is like 1400fps and the rounds i have are a hard polymer tip wrapped in lead that expands after entry like a hollow point. But down small animals no problem
