I bought one for a P80 that hasn't been completed yet. Machining is rough for sure. I want to throw it in soon I just need the $$$ to put the rest of the gun together.

Yeah I saw on Glock talk a few people freaking out over the machining being rough and they felt the metal was cheaper than stock and were afraid to shoot it.

I’m not sure what I want to do. Don’t want to drop a bunch of money on a barrel I might use less than 50 rounds a year.

Lone Wolf barrels are pretty reasonable as are Brownells

If you're fine with gambling whatever the barrel costs on what might be junk and might be really good, go for it. If you want a known-good barrel, listen to Jim

Looking for some feedback guys .

Got this G17 that I’m thinking of putting on consignment or selling myself and wanted to hear opinions on pricing .

It’s got a Swenson threaded barrel and slide , all slide parts and all frame parts are new Glock pieces .

    Frame has some rash .

What would be fair for this package

A little of this and a little of that.
I bought a G44 and went to the gun club for some trigger time.

    F5339B3C-B19A-41BC-B7EB-9001794AD46F.jpg

I had a few FTE with Federal 36 grain HP, but no issues with CCI & Aguila 40 grain.
Accuracy was fantastic, and the trigger is typical Glock, which is A-OK with me.

Of course, my S&W Victory ate everything without issues.:stirthepot:

I’ll stick with 40 grain rounds for the G44 and keep enjoying it. FWIW, I was excited and happy when Glock announced that it was going to get into the rimfire market with the G44.

So are you thinking it’s the 36 grain rounds that are the problem? I want the new G44 but I want to be able to shoot anything out of it like my G19.

Nothing super scientific here, but yes, the 36 grain rounds were the ones that had fail to eject troubles. It was usually on the 9th round with one live round remaining in the magazine. Happened with both magazines when loaded with 36 grain rounds.
