    So this one was acquired recently?

    I try to read a lot about the species I either own or am interested in and have seen a common trend repeated; M Balfouri don't survive long as slings if the egg sack is removed from the mother. It's best to have the mother tend to them and live in a communal setup (temporarily) before removing them.

    Wonder how small that sling is at time of removal to ensure a healthy specimen.

    I've actually had it since June of last year. They grow slowly apparently. :D

    I have also read they mature at a quicker rate when in a communal setup :anonymous:

    Hard to tell because of the enclosure wall but you might actually have the olive color form there.
