I have the same bose system and it still pumps out some good sound even though it’s 25+ years old.

So tomorrow I'm going to knock out the bumper mounting studs on the front frame horn. Then I'll replace them with 7/16 stainless bolts. I was looking at the studs today. Because of the nice thin tin they're pressed into I won't be able to knock them out with a BFH. I could probably try my air hammer, but I'm not sure if it'll have enough oomph. Anyone done this or have any ideas on how to get these out quick-like? Or at least with the minimal amount of cussing?

Could cut them off and then drill out the remains. Wouldn’t be much to drill.

I was kind of thinking about something like that, but I'm not sure there's enough room. If I can work it I may just put a hole in a 2x4 and put it behind the horn and break out Thor's hammer.
