I still can’t bring myself to buy stock, even now. I can’t see putting my money where someone else can take it from me.

I'm still debating on dropping my contributions for the time being but that's a hard decision to make. Take the gamble and hope for a full recovery or lower the bleeding to tolerable levels.

You younger guys should keep putting money in now because you’re buying more. You have plenty of time to recover your losses. I think that once this shit passes, the recovery will be faster than the 2008 disaster.

 

My aunt has so much in the market I can’t imagine what she has lost the past month. She’s older and rich, she knows what she’s doing, I guess.

 

I am actually planning on quitting my job in the near future for when we move and am undecided if I'll continue working. I probably will, but I will likely be taking a pay cut when I do.

Yep, my sister had told me a few weeks back she had lost something like 40k in company stocks and she wasn't going to look at her 401k. She's a workaholic though so she'll recover it.
