What did it take to do that? Just the control stalk and swap it out?

Yep! Took about 3 minutes. Bought it off eBay for $79 if I remember correctly.

Yes...very simple. Just about any Toyota intermittent switch from about '15 and older will work.

Doesn't have to be just a Tacoma switch

There is a 3 speed switch...3 second delay, low and high. They're usually from a Yaris sedan. They work great. Or you can get a variable intermittent switch from a Taco, Tundra, Camry, etc, ect. It doesn't much matter. They're all the same.

I'd skip the Prius, Yaris hatchback, Sienna, Highlander....basically anything with a rear wiper. Those switches will give you intermittent wipers and will work just fine. But you'll have that ring on the switch which controls the rear wiper that you don't have.

I'd get one too, but to do that I need to have a hitch first... :annoyed: so many mods to do!

Bought my 2nd Gen hitch from U-Haul. Found them to have the best price...I've actually bought two hitches from them in the 19 yrs we been here. Easy install too on the Tacoma.

One cool feature I like....if you need to carry something that's not just long but wide, you can flip those top "arms" upside down and create a wide flat surface for something to sit on. So you aren't limited to carrying loads that are as wide as the arms can adjust outward. Just flip 'em over.
