Why do most Tundra's have 5 lugs?

Tundras have never been irs, sequoias are. The new ones. Land cruisers started the 5 lug trend with 14mm thread lug nuts. Tundra, land cruiser, sequoia, ls500. Ls460. And the lx470 and 570

 

Lul, and new Tacoma’s have electric power steering

 

The day Toyota starts putting IRS on it's trucks is going to be a very sad day

 

You likely will never see it with how cheap Toyota is!
Go look at 2nd gen tundra vs 3rd gen. They’ve taken away so many features and are charging way more!

 

I guess it's a blessing and a curse, them being cheap. At least we still get solid rear axle, body on frame trucks and a manual trans option (though it gets phased out more and more each year)

There's a guy on here that converted his to IRS if I remember right. 5 lug street truck, makes sense for that

 

The sequoias are IRS, they’re stupid beefy. But I still would never want it

 

It makes sense with an SUV that is primarily for hauling people around and getting the most comfort out of it.

Oh fuck lol I forgot that the wagoneer has 7/16-20 lug studs

I need to go find an M12 stud to press in. Also, there is like 800lb of dog food (no joke) piled in front of the shop press

 

Or I could be a lazy POS and just buy new lug nuts for that wheel

 

does anyone know where i can find fender flares for the taco , mines are shot .. please

 

Check the buy/sell/trade section of the website... I've seen some posts from people selling them lately. @Tour991 had some for sale a little while ago
