It was on the Bill for this year to ban lead ammo from ranges, apparently it was dropped so you're safe for another year.

Manufacturers are supposed to send one of each model that they want on the roster for "testing". A lot of the manufacturers started saying FU, which was the intent. All new semi-autos have to have micro stamp technology so they're probably won't be a lot of those added.

"Effective January 1, 2001, no handgun may be manufactured within California, imported into California for sale, lent, given, kept for sale, or offered/exposed for sale unless that handgun model has passed firing, safety, and drop tests and is certified for sale in California by the Department of Justice."
