    Oof

    Can't like.

Why do you suspect? Keeps wandering around looking to mate? Body proportions?

M balfouri is one species where it's hard to tell until the male has their final molt and their dark carapace appears as seen in the pic below. Male on left.

I'll post updates as he/she shows its colors.

Considering I named it Mini Me, I'm assuming it'll be a male.

Keep in mind it was a week ago since it went through a molt. Also just ate a small dubia

Good shot of P. regalis showing how drastic the underleg coloration can be between the front "threat posture" legs and the rear legs.

Always been intrigued with all the bright contrasting colors different species exhibit.

    That's pretty fucking cool.

Today is day 3 and aside from a small glimpse yesterday, I haven't seen Lady Gaga but did notice something just now....

This is what I suspect to be the 'main' entrance. This is one of 2 areas that I pre-dug for her and she has webbed up a tunnel to it.

    20200405_124224.jpg

Now, the second pre-dug entry way is also webbed up but not as much. This is on the opposite end of the main entrance....I'm 100% sure they connect.

    20200405_124309.jpg

What was really interesting was this though

    20200405_124252.jpg

She seems to be excavating below the log. Now the log is plenty long so if she did remove a lot of substrate, she's at no risk of being crushed. Wood went in and is wedged across the width of the enclosure.

Too bad we can't see the elaborate tunnels she's creating under the wood.

    @boogie3478

    Have you preserved any T's?

The one that was destined to pass away...well I kept it. Felt bad just "discarding it" and instead would like to preserve it

Was hoping for a wet preservation, but unsure on the exact liquid to use.

Might go all out with resin?

The resin would probably trap a bunch of bubbles. Formaldehyde is good but not sure where you can buy it.
