Anybody have first hand experience with them. Did a search, but only came back with two threads. I know I can go to tirerack and look through hundreds of reviews, but I'm looking for a first hand review from a tacoma owner.

I can get them from a buddy who works for a tire distributor for $105 apiece. Seems to be a pretty good deal. The rugged trails are about shot.

This was Goodyear's original All-Terrain tire, been around forever. I haven't heard of any glowing reviews on that tire. I've heard that they're disconttinued and won't be making them anymore. Goodyear hasn't confirmed, but I'll check into it at the office Monday.

Have you heard anything negative about the tire though. That is really my main concern. The reviews I've read are on the fence. There are those that swear by them and love them, and then there are some that say they wear permaturely and are hard to balance.

I've heard both about them. People that refuse to buy anything but them, and others who hate them with a passion. Goodyear has an issue with creating a tire with almost no tire hop to it... I would steer away.Hope this helps. PM with any other questions.

I've got em' on my truck.15k miles and they seem to be wearing fine.Great tire in the snow.I'd buy them again.I paid 550 otd for 265/75/16C a little over a yr.ago so that's a good price also.

I'll give the same review, less than 15k miles on mine though...I think they only some in that size (from what I found.) I needed tires on my truck real bad and a local place had them on sale, around $520 installed. I wanted BFG ATs like I had on my old Tacoma, those were great tires too (but big time money!). But those had cupping issues after 10-15k miles. No cupping on the Wrangler TD.
When we moved to DC and they had all the snow earlier this year I went anywhere I wanted.
Can you get a cheaper tire? Yes...but probably not w/a tread pattern similar. More expensive tire? of course, and the options there are endless... I think this tire is a great deal. It has a good tread pattern and seems to be holding up well in my situation.

I'm stock as well (you can see the pics in my album) and have a slight rub when fully turned leaving my driveway. Other than that, no rubbing. I am running on stock rims, BTW. No obnoxious road noise either.

I went ahead and got them installed. I've only put a couple hundred miles on them but they seem to be fine. They have a slight humm at highway speed, but nothing hardly noticeable. I had read reviews of people saying they were hard to balance, but they seemed to balance fine. No shaking at all at highway speeds, and I even have steel wheels. No chance to try them off road yet. Pic attached.

Post another update this weekend. I am interested to hear what you think after having them on for a bit longer.

Will do. I'm going to a meet on Nov 6th, so hopefully I'll have a chance to try them off road. How have they handled off road for you, I know you said they were great in the snow.

Since I moved to Maryland I haven't found any place to try them off road. I really got them for the winters up here. (I'd actually like to get a cheap set of road tires (and wheels) for the rest of the year.) I am headed back to TX/AR in Nov and might be able to try them off road then. If I do, I'll post an update then.

I just wanted to update this thread. I've had these for a little over 10k now, and am pleased to say that they have been a great tire. We had lot of snow this winter and I was surprised at how well they did. They do good in the rain as well. I would have to gun it pretty good from a stop to get them to spin.

They are very quiet as well. Off road they did well, however I will say I haven't had the chance to really test them. Hopefully I will be able to post another update after some of us here locally get together for our spring meet.
