Undo the uca ball joint then push down on the lca with you foot and put a pry bar under the shock eyelet and in the shock mount. Push up on the pry bar and the shock eye will slide in.
Also fix that dam upper ball joint ffs

I had a similar issue with a rear shock. I used a bolt and nuts. Put it through and turned the nuts to spread the shock mount apart. Make sense?

After getting the shock in I tightened it back down, bending the mount back in place correct for the shock.

However, being the LCA can move, with a second person you should be able to push down the LCA and push the shock into the lower mount.

Ditch the spacer and it'll fit no problem

Also you need a new upper ball joint

5100s and a spacer? What do you have the 5100s set on?

OP - I agree with this too (loose the spacer), but didnt want to assume so because for all I know its intended use is a street truck and for looks.

I put the height on the shock to 0 so I should be able to put the spacer on cause it’s the same highs as the stock ones.

You consider just ditching the spacer all together?

Use a pry bar to push/pull the entire assembly down. Then you should be able to slip the bolt through.

If you decided to keep the spacer and can't get the LCA to move down with another person helping after undoing the UCA ball joint, then you could spread the lower shock mounts further apart to get it to slide in. Slide a bolt through with two nuts on the inside of the lower mounts. Then move them so they are each on one of the inner side of the mounts. Turn the nuts one at a time to move the nuts out further/away from each other slightly bending the mounts outwards. Once you get the shock in you can tighten them back down to fit the shock.

Unbolt the LBJ and use a ratchet strap hooked on lower control arm close to LBJ (not on the Ball joint) and wrap the other end of strap to opposing side (i wrap around the lower shock). That will help u bring the lower control arm down instead of having a second hand pushing down and fighting to get that lower bolt in lol
