It depends on how long this virus thing goes on. If it goes into May, then it will likely get get pushed back. If the country is given a green light, namely CA, and San Diego opens up the beaches, in early May at the latest, well be fine.

It’s looking like there’s no end in sight as of now. “They” say the peak is going to be in the middle of May sometime. How someone projects dates for something like this is beyond me but that’s what I heard.
    :notsure:

Just gotta watch it play out I guess

They're using computer based projection model, but this the first time its been used for something like this on this scale. So even the experts are giving educated guesses.

Guess I’ve been reading to many news articles to spot it.

Awesome that you are in good spirits! Wishing the best for you two, hoping this is all cautious over projection.

How do I get in on this

I know it'll likely be postponed with how things are going, but hopefully not. Really would like to meet some fellow TW members, and start making friends to do maintenance/work with together, and do offroading/camping stuff as well. Bonus points if said TW friendship can blossom into a friendship outside the bounds of truck stuff

haha will do. I assume for now we're holding off until more developments regarding COVID-19?

I saw a bunch of parks throughout the state opened up Monday...wondering if this includes truck trails, would love to hit a couple easy ones with someone or a few people on here if they are open and anyone's willing.

Disclaimer: I'm wholly new to the truck life and know virtually nothing about this stuff. Be prepared to answer a whole bunch of questions. Just want you to know what you're walking into lol.

I'm located in North County of San Diego County, FWIW

    Welcome new amigo!

Dude we'd prefer you ask any questions you have. Feel free man. As Colton said, everyone starts somewhere.

Much appreciated! None yet as I'm only just starting to dip my toes into the aftermarket ocean, working my way from the inside out lol. Truck was bought back in October with 60k on it, and as far as I and the dealership can tell, the truck was treated and maintained well, so I'm riding out OEM equipment as long as I can before equipping the truck with parts more geared for offroad/camping

Also good looking out on the Big Bear trip! That's definitely something I'd be interested in

Located up in the Encinitas area. But I'm always driving down to PB or Lemon Grove to hang with friends/gf respectively. Fiesta Island occasionally too for the pup

or at least I used to before coronavirus hit...

That's awesome, thanks for the offer!

Will definitely be taking you up on that in the near future. I'm useless with electrical stuff, and don't really know a damn thing when it comes to most of the mechanical stuff beyond basic maintenance but would love to learn
