    Looks like the Tacoma is getting buckets and a console.:dancingbacon: Completely disassembled the console for a thorough cleaning. Seats got a lengthy fabric clean aswell. I aslo tried my hand at sewing the hole in the drivers seat. :thumbsup: (Note to self: Dont quit your day job, seamsters are professionals. Oh well, looks better than a hole. LOL)

    Not to shabby for a $70 purchase and little TLC. :canada:

    My lights were so bad, thought I was going to need replacements. Meguires Heavy Duty kit is amazing! What a difference.:D

    i also ran into some trouble getting the tail lights to sit flush on the body, will this be a huge issue or not too bad since its a housing?

    Water is going to get into the housings and corrode / ruin the bulbs. I'd figure out why they aren't seating / grind down the Rago bolts to make them fit like they should.

    Its been so long since I've driven a mostly stock truck. I'll miss the whine of the ol' girl and the extra giddy up.

    On that note, anyone know of good source for a throttle cable bracket? The intake was off an 01' but the truck is an 03'. They switched to drive by wire and the 01' definitely didn't line up with the 03's throttle body. A little garage hackery to add an extra hole and the bracket works but, I'd still like to put the correct one in.

    The cost of these seats would be a drop in the bucket compared to everything you have put into your truck already, and these would be the part your body would appreciate the most - trust me!

    Just send me a supercharger for my 2rz so we can even things up a bit between our rigs, and consider these impossible to find seats yours!! :thumbsup:

    Looks good. You can swap the passenger side bottom seat to the drivers side and it will look brand new. They are exactly the same.

    the tail lights don’t “seal” against the bedsides so that won’t be a problem. The tail light itself is a sealed unit, to include where the bulbs insert into the back of the housing.

    Not yet, I but it will be. Waiting to hit 50 post before I can post in the for sale section. I have a lot of stuff in the garage that needs a new home at this point.

    Mostly financial. Up to a couple days ago we were planning to sell the truck since I purchased a new one. If I had left it on the truck I would have never seen any of the investment back so it made more sense to sell it separately. Also, I had to get at the knock sensor harness so it was coming off anyway.

    With recent developments at my company, I decided to keep the Tacoma and sell the new truck for a little more financially stable.

    @WrappedTaco ,

    I was going to suggest this too, swap your lap cushions to hide your sewing job behind the console!

    Minor Note: There is a slight difference though they are not exactly the same, vinyl covering goes on this inside of the cushion while the fabric is on the outside.

    I would swap it still however, heck there may be some more cushion left on the passenger side too for more comfort!
