Sorry I should have put in the original comment we want to tour non stop for months...

I agree the pop up is a great idea, both on mileage and safety when towing in windy conditions.

by the way, totally jealous of the BBP. Back in 2018 I finally decided to buy a truck had been talking about it for ages, always loved the color. My only dealer (live on an island) had a 18, DCLB OR 4x4, with the leather and sunroof advertised online (my dream truck). I go down and they had sold it that morning, they check and they can’t get any more and the plant was switching over to 2019 and no more BBP... I was gutted :(

Nice! Did the same today with these Clazzio’s. Not an easy install, but definitely quality. Per their instruction, a week or two of use and I will tighten it down again.

Have to cut them at 14 and 3/4 inches as shown in the picture. This is a must to clear the portion of the bracket that angles in and goes down to the crash bar. Slides in super easy. Then use the bolt and nut just like you would if you threw the dams away. The hole the bolt goes in is the same hole that held the plastic rivet you removed. Drove it about five miles on the highway today. No noise.

I’m not usual one who likes all that flash but your interior really looks great. A Movie quote, “That rug really tied the room together, did it not,” comes to mind.

I agree with you. I think 24' is max for State Parks here. I'd look for a Van style but sounds like your family need something bigger. We were looking at the Winnebago Travato 59k. It's the hottest thing out there right now and gets 20mpg.....no shit.

    It overrides the steps.

Okay, I can't. When the door opens, the steps come out. This switch prevents this from happening in case of a obstacle or dead animal, like a moose that would cause damage to the step.

That looks cool, I do like the style of van but we are wanting something with more space, mainly because it’ll be our home for a long time. I’m fairly new to towing and I don’t know if I’m being too cautious. Back in the uk as a kid we would head over to Europe every summer for 3 weeks. Most of those holidays the caravan was pulled by either a ‘84 BMW 735 or a 86 Mercedes 280 estate.
I’m thinking that finding the right TT is the best way, put a hard shell on my long bed for aero (maybe stick one of these on for good measure https://www.google.com/shopping/pro...aNFVLB1A,prmr:1,pid:16551759083465768176,cs:1)
