I vote for the second one Ken, actually saw a guy at Walmart walking around with something similar.

Masks do something really good. They prevent you from touching your face. Wear one when you go out. For you. Wash hands when you get home, good to go!

Right. I think the doctor was pointing out that most(?) masks do not protect the user.

 

If anything, it sort of prevents the user from touching their face.

 

Ken, I have one of those canister mask for running the lawn mower when pollen count is high which is from about Feb. through November here.

I have some of the commercial surgical masks but not too many so I will wear one when leaving home then spray it with Lysol when I return. Then let it sit for a few days while wearing others repeating the spray, store protocol hoping any virus will be dead by the time I reuse one.

May not work but likely will not do any harm.

 

My daughter, love that kid, brought over 2 masks for me and the missus. I guess I'm going to be doing the Lysol routine on these as well. I just hope everyone stays safe and this Covid-19 fades off into the sunset. It's a big adjustment to everyone's lifestyle and hopefully we all will survive.
