Looks great! I need to clean my engine compartment too and wanted to check how you got yours so clean. I asked another member who recently did a similarly great job cleaning his engine and he used a pressure washer. What is your engine cleaning process? Thanks.

I dig the fact that the motor has a timing chain, not belt.

In TX, mine is known as blue box.......bout the only mods on it when I got it was the bB badging and rr bumper scuff guard.

    Indeed...no belt.

My daughter drives a 10 year old Yaris with 150k on the 1NZ. Purrs like a kitten without the slightest hint of oil leakage or burning.

I run M1 HM 5/30 synthetic in it. And an M1-103 filter.

I finished the prototype bracket for my fuse/relay boxes. Of course I had to drill a hole in the wrong location.
I made it out of 1/8" ABS plastic and just need to heat it and put a slight bend in it so the boxes are level.
Once I get it mocked up I can figure out if I need a support bracket (I think I do). I also ordered more wire, I have 18ga. but as I was wiring the fuse box I had the idea to move to 16ga.
I think I'll use the 18ga. to switch the relay on. The way I'm wiring it, the switch will send ground to the relay (except for the inverter and compressor relays).

On a positive not, the crimper I bought crimps the terminals just fine. It's just a shame the the fuse box doesn't come with extra terminals in case you make a mistake, which I have.

A picture of the handle I installed on Saturday. The rubber gasket doesn't fit too well.
