Well, you could have strap down extra chairs in the back of the bed and make it a seven seater. You can't do that with Jeep.

I went to Whole Foods on Potrero Hill and they were giving out bags for free. Had to wait in line about 20 minutes.

Absolutely! Butch built. This is actually my brothers 40 but I restored it. Finished it in 2017. Painted it in the garage at my place on Potrero Ave in SF. Boy was it rough. It has a TBI 350. This was my families first FJ40. Grew up with a 1989 FJ62 which we still have. I will say. I LOVE my Tacoma but my heart is with the Land Cruisers. My current project is my own FJ62. Picked it up from Georg Esterer early last year. Motor was blown. Rebuilt it and here we go!

That means you know Gary as well. I agree with the sentimentality towards the 40 series. I miss my 67 the most. If I had one regret in my Auto ownerships, I would say I regret selling my 67 FJ40. And Butch was a great man and even better friend. A tragedy. I was shipped out for work when it all happened. I wish I could have been there at his wake. I have work up Soda Canyon and still drive by his old shop. Well, actually, the shop is gone as well as the house. The new owners have rebuilt since the fire.
