how fragile are these things? The front camera just goes insane. But the rubber bands inside...I don't know how they are suppose to be.

The gimbal on the front? From what I’ve seen, they are pretty fragile and can be temperamental to begin with. Lots of people have had them spaz out. The early ones had issues where they’d just randomly stop working. The rest of the drone is fairly robust (props, etc).

I recall them also getting caught downloading images/video from people who had the app installed. I use a vector flight controller and have had great success.

I tagged a few branches at near full speed on my Inspire early in ownership. I figure it was 40mph+. Thankfully the body withstood it and the gyros sorted themselves out without too much elevation loss. Other than some ‘leaf green’ markings, it turned out ok. I’m much more cautious now. :)

Not even a little tease? Just a little nugget of Nagasaki Nightmare? A little wonderful Wu Tang War Whistle? A little Twin Taiwan Tantalizer? 5 seconds is all I need. That gives me 3 seconds for cuddling.

Great update, thanks. When you get time / have finalized this (no rush) can you explain a bit more about when the port injectors are used? My concern is around the build up of crap on the back of the valves if the direct injection is used more and port injection is used less, not a great concern, but potentially means add a catch can for me / piece of mind.

If it can't be my DD and weekend camp/tow it is not suitable for my use. How about the SC? any luck there with the DD and weekend camp/tow? Tundra time?

Bilstein 6112/5160s. OME leaf springs. 285/75/16. RC tonneau cover. Supernova v3 led lows, highs, and fog lights. Kicker speaker upgrade.
I think for the base and the base powermax kit they would both be ideal for daily driving. The big boost kit however, may not be ideal for a daily unless you have access to ethanol.

I have an Autel X-Star Premium drone. I've been super happy with it since day one. No zone restrictions or limitations.

I have crashed it a few times (my fault every time), and she still fly just as well as she did when she was new. :)

Not sure why the TT kit would not be dailyable. Not really any different than the SCs.

tuning and fueling for the magnuson / harrop is going to be a challenge for them I bet. It is going to require significant fueling upgrades too.

There is two "fuel roads" you can go down.
    1. Upgraded port injectors to get more fuel. But then the stock in tank pump does not flow enough to keep up with demand. (this is if you want to use them primarily for the added fuel, which you will have to).
    2. Upgraded DI injectors. These upgraded DI injectors are working excellent at providing the fuel for our TT kit. But they are very expensive.

Going with option #2 you're looking at the SC kit coming out to nearly $10k.
Going with option #1, you need a custom fuel pump controller or completely reworking the port injection system with a return line, etc.

I say good luck to magnuson and harrop to figure out which way they are going to go. They picked a big blower for this engine.

I thought you had posted a picture of a supercharger from Magnusson. Figured you were going to work on a tune for that.

Magnuson allowed me to purchase one to see what I could get out of it.
As far as I know they are doing their own tune, CARB and whatever.

I might be in for a Magnuson with your tune as long as you can make some good power with it

I know the turbos will make amazing power but I'm still interested to see what the SC will do. If OVT makes an install kit for the SC with pumps/injectors/controllers/tuning that would make life interesting...

I would love to get a kit from Mat with his tune. My preference is the Harrop SC as it would allow me to keep my aux battery where its at.
