Neither am I at 6’ 5” and 220lbs! My challenge is bending down to get in and then hauling the old body back out - a small price to pay

That's a horrible idea. What time?
6'6" and 300 (and falling). After driving a Focus, I have decided I don't want to sit down to get into a vehicle any more. The Taco is a good height. Besides, the last time I tried to get into one of those small sport cars, I couldn't use Reverse, 1st or 2nd gears. My knee was in the way, and it was wedged behind the steering wheel!

Just a new battery. The storage company supposedly cranked and moved the truck every week but I guess they didn't leave it running long enough to keep the battery up.
Thanks. Yeah not many Tacomas around here at all. Also nowhere to get mods.

I didn't have to do anything pre-storage because the storage company cranked, moved, and did basic maintenance on the truck. I stored a car several years back myself and put it on jack stands, added fuel stabilizer, disconnected the battery and covered it. After 12 months stored it ran fine after a quick charge.

Blind spot mirror incorporated in the the door mirrors. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
    FYI
I just used adhesive backed blind spot mirrors and got the same effect for very little money and mine are adjustable.
Edit: use the search feature at the top of each page, enter discussion / part looked for then hit the search tab. Look for key words(s) in Bold
Just a suggestion to make things easier for you to find the information you desire. Very useful feature.
    Hope this helps. :)

Careful with that channel. Those kids have too much money and not half as many brains.

    :D

Anyone under 50 is a kid to me.

Some pretty smart folks under 50 and below but I'd be cautious on all YouTube videos. Many are all about the number of likes and the potential dollar$ that go with those likes. Think I'd rather rely on the good folks here for my Tacoma queries and mods.
    :)

I hate to say it, but I might be giving the youngster's mod a try  I actually have an old pop-n-lock that I had on my 1995 Pickup that has been sitting in my basement for 18 years. Might be worth a go

hardest part is bending the bar into shape, measure twice cut once. My only advice.

Worth a shot, nothing ventured, nothing gained. You can always put it in the trash if it doesn't work. Been cleaning up my shop from all the crap that I was going to use some day but decided that at this point in my life it's time to get real.
Hope your mod works out for you. Good luck!

Been cleaning out the garage (and office, and closet) for 3 like weeks now - doing the same thing you are - trying to get a little more realistic with my hoarding. Pretty sure I won't need some of the 10K old screws and bolts I was save'n for just the right project. It's kinda how I came across the old actuator in the first place
