Make sure it suits the gear ratio you want to run!!! There are 2 front air lockers made for 2 different gear ranges.

Like @whitedlite said respect it and use it how it was designed to use and you will love it, Use it like I do and you will buy CVs.
A locker is meant to use when you are in places that cause two wheels to come off the ground at the same time. With out a rear locker if you have a front and a rear off the ground you are stuck. With a rear locker you will have one tire with traction. If you have a front and rear you will have two tires with traction even if you have two tires off the ground.
When I am on a multi-day trip I use it the way it should be used, when I am at a Offroad park where I have time to repair a broke CVs I will push them harder than I should and sometimes they break. I have been on countless trips and I use the front locker on almost all of them. The ones I have broken was all my Fault and could have been prevented. The videos below show a couple places that the front locker made the trail easy. I have been in a lot of places that I go with ease and others pull winch lines because of the front locker. Are they necessary no but we all buy a lot of things we don't need. If I had to decide on buying one I personally would but its because I know how much they help me. A lot of people will never need one but the places and the way I offroad it is a big help to me.

@whitedlite has a front locker and as far as I know has never broke a CV

You wouldn’t even follow my line on that little tree you were so afraid of it. You went up real high to avoid getting stuck. Chicken.

Thanks Jeff. I think ill go with a Locker. Might take me a bit longer to assemble all my parts but i think it will be worth it in the long run. Id rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Im really trying to be safer out on the trails and crawl instead of gassing it. I think a front locker will help me do that well. Hopefully i pick this one up for $525!
