@OneGiraffe , I remember the first time I saw MTV. I was looking for my little brother, and found him and a bunch of his buddies over at a friends apartment. I walk in, and course their all stoned on the asses watching some crap on tv. I think maybe Flock of Seagulls was on, but don't quote me on that. I asked them what in the hell they were watching, and they all looked at me like I was an alien from another planet. It's MTV dude. I was into my redneck days then cowboy boots hat the works. I never really watched that show, just didn't interest me. But I do remember watching a show put on by Don Kirshner,(Midnight Special) back in the day. not sure if I spelled his name right.

But there are so many hundreds of species in the mint family I've never been able to positively identify the species.

Time for my daily walk, hmmm think I'll shoot for 1.4 miles today, I'll be back.

Wow, with the pace I set today, I'm going to break new speed records for gimpy old men with a cane going for a walk. Took me 37 minutes to walk 1.4 miles. But I'm so happy, just to be able to get out and walk. I've been pretty much house bound for the last 5 years, with the 3 previous spinal fusions not working properly. If I keep this up, I might be cane free in 6 months or so. I think it's time to up my game, and plan a fishing outing, even if I don't catch anything. I haven't been fishing in 5 years.

 

I loved MTV when I was a teen. That was way back when music was still good. And most of the videos featured hot ladies.

 

And they almost always lay only 2 eggs.

 

I remember Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. It came on late Saturday nights. And I loved some MTV!
