??? double check that you have the newest software and drivers downloaded and maybe reach out to dongle users on this thread - or OVTune's help desk.

Yeah that's what I was doing. Bought a new laptop, updated everything and still couldn't do it.
Swapped a tune from an Accord to a Civic and put a new one on the Accord in twenty minutes. This thing is either real old or real odd.

If your dongle, use pcm flash not p5 flash I believe.

@OMGitsme, I’m assuming after you received the Tactrix and purple dongle from me, you contacted May and then paid for a license, converting you over to a “dongleless” (I.e. no more use for the purple dongle that previously authenticated PCM flash). If that’s the case, you would be using the P5 flash utility as you mentioned (Not PCM, those files and the program are only for dongle users.) Although I don’t have any experience with it, I do know that if the buttons are grayed out, you are likely experiencing some sort of issue with the licensing. It should be an easy fix. Give @OVTune a shout if you haven’t already, via zendesk.

Also, if you haven’t already tried, you may try reinstalling the software and or verifying your system ID did not somehow change. Also disable any and all antivirus software. Just trying to going through all the possible hiccups. Hope you get everything resolved ASAP.

Oh so maybe we were following the dongle directions but don't even need it? I'll try that tonight. Thanks for the help!

2019 peeps that are running the latest 2.0 Beta, has the tip-in changed after putting in enough miles for learning? I just installed yesterday and the tip in is pretty bad. My pedal basically moves a decent amount before any power happens and then it’s all of a sudden. It’s like the pedal gives about 1% power for an inch or more and then the power finally kicks in at about 30%. It’s very annoying so far.
Im running the 91 performance tune

EDIT: Everything else is better than the old Beta. I can really feel a difference in power and the shifting is perfect.

Seems like that may be the issue. If you had to send him your computers system ID and he sent you back a file, you need to follow these instructions I’ve linked below. Check our the links under Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3.

I just put another 200 miles on the new 2.0 beta and hate to say it but it is still the same.

Yes but, did it resolve the issues that 2019s were uniquely experiencing before, such as fuel shut off at WOT? From my understanding, there were no additional changes to the beta other than intentionally resolving very specific problems.

I did resolve all other past issues. I'm hoping the new vF software is easy enough to adjust the tip-in.

It did resolve all the issues that I had. But he did change the tip-in because some people were saying the tip-in on the old Beta was too much.

Glad to hear it. From the sounds of it, all 2019 owners on the new beta have had those specific issues resolved. Hopefully that means 2.0 is soon!

I have a 2019. I would like at least 1 completely finished tune before vF starts. Us 2019 and 2020 guys haven’t had a tune yet that wasn’t Beta or unsafe to use.
But yes, vF I think is going to be awesome.

mine is finishing up learning/resets, I have a couple hundred miles on the newest beta2.0 91 performance tune. it seems if i think about it, the tip in has a bit of lag, if i dont think about it and just drive, it doesnt bother me, until it does (if that makes sense).

i thought it was getting better with more miles but, it is there, albeit not terrible like some are talking about. havent had any warnings, fuel cut, bogs, shift delays, short shift 3-4, or anything else, that seem to plague the 19-20 trucks.

overall happy. if we could get the D, Smode, ECT, "map/fuction list" so we know what we are asking the truck to do, and what to look for, i could give more feedback, on this beta. (but, i thought i read somewhere, there were no changes to those items at this time so, i have been just driving in D, and not worrying about the rest). my .02 cents is, put the tip in back to the last beta, or between what it is now and the last 2.0 beta, and it would be close as we can get to "perfect"

thanks again Mat, this last tune, is sooo close to perfect, and it is because of you, and you listening to the feedback here, and on zendesk. Ski

Nobody but the manual crowd have anything other than a beta tune.
