Dried coolant around heater hose

Recently purchased a 2013 Toyota crew cab 4.0 auto. Noticed small amount of dried coolant around the back heater hose connecting to the motor or block. Looks old and ash like. No signs of new drips or leaks. Does not overheat and seems to run normal. Should I be concerned. 105k miles. Dried coolant around reservoir wiped it clean and moved clamp. Level seems to hold.

 

If it doesn't overheat and coolant levels stay solid I wouldn't worry about it. Wipe it off and check whenever

No does not overheat I drove it 400 miles home when purchased. Really like the new to me truck. Hoping to keep it forever. Just service the transmission last week.

 

Clean it off and tighten the clamp, no problem.

 

Your good to go man, change fluids and wear parts at recommended intervals and it should go forever lol.

I used to get paranoid and would add an extra worm clamp if there was room. Now, I would just clean it and check periodically.
