    Sorry to hear about that

nice, alberta is awesome lots of good hiking stuff out that way. Id tour into bc if you want to do anything with the truck. Seemed to be more service roads (with lots of camp sites)

yea man kinda hard to meet up with anyone right now with this dumb ass virus.
Enjoy the time off because it kinda sucks watching everyone else make progress on their trucks and im stuck at work

Yah I’m mainly going to be doing hiking stuff in the mountains on the weekends when (and if) I get out that way. I will make it to BC though, thinking maybe summer after my 2nd year of school I’ll gun for a job farther out west.

And yah I feel that, but at least you’re making cash. I’m just spending it ;)

The joke in Arizona is that if the gov't rolled out boxcars going to "virus protection camps", most of the populace would jump in without question, and snitch on those who refuse...

Holy shit, I was going to buy one of those.... glad I didn't, and just took my fronts to a shop to change out the springs.

I'd send a picture to Amazon and to the seller. Let them know this happened with 600-700lb springs. They better do some redesign and resting as that will seriously screw someone up.

I would have been shoveling crap outa my pants if that was me.

Well he's to another crazy shop story and glad you're ok.

The compressor was likely designed for far less load than advertised. One review shows the lower fork mount causing the tower to cave in:

Well far be it from me to miss an opportunity to kick a good man when he's down....

    Just to help you out....

    Look what I did today....

Yep, nice shiny new Icon RXT packs.

I'd say it was a bitch to do, to cheer you up...

But then I would be lying.

I'd say that the ride was terrible, but as we all know that would be a lie too.

    BUT

I did have a cut on my finger....
got phosphoric acid on it when I was cleaning the drum surface where it meets the rim.
    That stung.
There I suffered,,,, just to make you happy.

So tomorrow I'll be greasing these between the leafs and rust protecting them.
Bounce around some and re-torque everything down.

Maybe take a pic or two for the boys at the office.

I think its a very good design. But the materials are poor. You should be able to max out the jack and have the steel hold together. I can max out my engine hoist and the cylinder bypasses but all the steel holds up.
oh well today was a good day and I live to wheel and wrench another day...

Did the plastic guides on the leaf pack retainers come with the pack, or did you transfer them from the OE pack?

Will be giving them a good workout tomorrow, :)

Did a short test run to settle everything on a rough road near me and I can definitely notice an improvement.

I did my suspension upgrade in 3 steps, Rear shocks, Front Springs and Shocks, and now rear leafs.
So it's been interesting and educating.

    Stock suspension sucks donkey balls.
