I'm assuming that ain't chocolate milk.

I need to try my carpet machine on the truck. It hasn't seen action since we put wood floors in the house.

I was really impressed. This was in a truck with husky liners front and back. You'll be surprised at the debri that comes out of the carpets and seats. Best part was that it was free

Couple questions about the awning portion of the ARB.
What size is the one you have? How is the attachment points? I have a factory roof rack and curious if it attaches to that.

Got some daytime pics! I got the new 2 me off road leafs from Craigslist for $50 & I didn't want turd gen leafs - so I waited till some 2015 used ones came up. They had under 40k miles - clean 2!!!:amen:

    Before -

    Now -

Can't wait for some tires. I have 11k on these. Korean Linglong (I think Korean) aren't super bad but been eyeballn some Generals or KO2s. Also, not sure why the Duratracs are so expensive? But I have plenty of room now for whatever till 33s & a cmc. Just bought some Cali Raised bed stiffeners 2, installing these next summer. Between Total Chaos & Cali Raised - lower price won.
Then going to research some sliders from RCI! No shipping = $$ :spending:

Good deal! I think a projector retrofit is one of the best things you can do for most vehicles. Most stock headlights are pretty bad.

SOS concepts bolt on sliders installed. Only issue was that 2 of the bolts won't allow the brake lines to sit back in the frame like they should. I ordered some tubing clamps from Summit and hopefully will be able to make some standoffs and the clamps to get everything secured.taco66.jpg taco68.jpg
Then made a small bracket to hold an oil catch can. Nothing fancy but it should do the job. Got it painted and hopefully can get everything installed tomorrow.

Also got some Spiker engineering hoot struts and Spotter replacement mirrors installed.

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.

I put some hose on the rubber tubing where they hit the bolt. Let us know what your fix looks like.

Mocked up the retrofit after work today. These projectors and shrouds were much larger than anticipated but I am happy with the overall look.

    IMG_20200406_180038.jpg

Edit: finished most of it up. Just need to bake the headlights, aim the projectors a bit and we're done!

I ordered my Pop & Lock PL8540 in March of 2015 and have had no problems with it. It's one of my favorite mods and super easy to install. Takes maybe 1-2 hours. Just to help out those that are interested.
*Note: If you have a key lock version, you can always unlock the tailgate, even if the actuator or the remote unlock functions fail. Even if you don't have the key lock version, you can still get it unlocked. With the tailgate up, just unscrew the screws across the top of the tailgate, stick you hand inside and manually actuate the mechanism to release the latch. Happend with my original Dynolock. Not a big deal.

I ran the power cable down and out one of the drain holes in the bottom of the tailgate.
    Screenshot 2020-04-06 at 6.39.47 PM.png
Followed the cable inside the truck body
    Screenshot 2020-04-06 at 6.40.40 PM.jpg
Ran the power cable to the grommet under the driver's seat
    Screenshot 2020-04-06 at 6.41.20 PM.png
Then tapped into the power door lock wire(s) in the factory wire harness.. And your done.

Agreed, It's the first mod I did on my truck. I replaced the OEM with the Spyder Projector Headlights & HID retrofit. Glad I kept the originals. Now I can do this mod.

Washed and waxed then a much needed detailing of the interior.
Used it to unload the storage unit which means the bedrack and RTT are back in the garage getting some spring cleaning and refreshing.
Mounted a couple "3rd brake lights" to my bedrack since my softopper and rack cover the stock brake light. Need to get some longer bolts to go through the 2" tube and waiting for wire to be delivered so I can tie them into the trailer lights.
Purchased a Smittybilt 8' awning so I drilled holes for the mounts and touched up the bed liner in spots where I scraped it last year.
Then today I ordered everything for the rear diff breather relocate, Trans fluid flush, and yellow fog lights bulbs. Just need to source some oil for the diffs and transfer case and my spring tune up will be complete.
