Just so many better options out there in regards to recovery and looks. Just my 2c but I think they don’t look right on Tacoma’s. They’re very very large

Don't forget to compensate for the weight of the winch... :boink:

They don't look bad on 2nd gens. Now the ARBs for the 3rd gens just look massive as hell now. It looks like they stick out even farther

You definitely have to compensate the bumper with big round lights or something on top to break up the big nose sticking out in front of the truck.

Might be some bias here but I love them on first gens and second gens but the third gen Front bumpers have a bit much of an underbite for me.

I think ARB bumpers are some of the best in crashes as they have lots of resources available for R&D and I think they are some of the only ones that still allow the airbag system to work as intended (I could be very wrong though).

I probably would not have an ARB if the first gen ones didn’t have recovery points though

You’re right. A lot of R&D. Great bumpers. I like yours on the first gen

No recovery points. Seems like such a small point. But why have to add them yourself for a 1200$ bumper.

That's the other thing is the lack of recovery points on the 2nd and 3rd gen versions. But you can always weld some on. If I found a good deal for one I would probably get it and make the same modifications like the one in the build thread I posted. They do look pretty sweet on the 2nd gens

That may be the case, but I have other reasons to get the ARB bumper. The fact that it is so large helps with what I need it for.
This is why I want to get one. Great in a crash, plus Ohio is known for its large deer population. I would like to have a bumper that can take on a big doe and not total the vehicle.

Measure who needs to measure cutting anything learn to use your fingers as a guide and hold a pen or something at the same distance to draw a line using the edge of whatever you are cutting as a guide for your pinkey. Old carpenters trick. The hard part is actually cutting and making sure your lines are straight for cutting.
