I remembered to track my intake today, I need to do it consistently now.
I also forgot I had a sweet tea with lunch so I had a beer with dinner.

I sidestepped like a politician. I'm not one but my geography is somewhat interesting these days. I have EPTX listed and its close enough. Shrug.

I only have bands but there are a couple things you can do with bands for chest...

The first is pushups with a band across your back anchored with your hands. A traditional pushup is about 60% of BW, so if you add bands accordingly, you can get a decent pump...lockout is where the work is though.

Secondly, I sit with my back against a workbench leg and loop a light band around the back of it...then it is basically cable flies with the band. if your form is good and you focus on the squeeze you can get a decent pump.

what is it you all put here?

    Be well.

Heck yeah! Pretty sure I remember you saying months ago that one unassisted pull-up was your goal, right? If so, you just smashed that one.

Going to build an axle for lifting. Fuck it. Can use it for squats, bench, deadlift, whatever. Just need to find some plates next.

Weld up boxes to the axle and load up some scrap iron or sand. Back to basics.

I’ll just share recently something I have started doing just incase anyone else could find it valuable.

My best friend of 20 years is an ER physician. Due to this whole mess he’s pretty strictly staying away from everyone but his husband. He goes to work and goes home. He has all his necessities delivered as he’s exposed to the virus daily.
We normally see each other everyday so its been tough not hanging out. Hes an avid long distance runner so hes also my running buddy. Obviously I haven’t been out running with him not just due to the virus.

Couple days ago he called me and was having a rough time missing out on our long runs. He has a treadmill but solitude running is not the same. He needs the therapy of being with someone to deal with the serious conditions and (sadly) the deaths he sees.

So we started scheduling 430am workouts where we talk while on the TM. Its been helpful just being able to talk to someone and have a workout buddy.

It keeps me motivated to workout too because its less solitary. Normally I want to be left TF alone but now its less that way.

We also have virtual beers together too when our schedules line up.

@tacopaulo taught me - it is pretty easy. We have been playing Cards Against Humanity, Jack Box games (Drawful and Quiplash), or pictionary. It's all online and pretty easy to stream for a group and then you just video or audio chat in google hangouts or discord

It is. That's cool that you remembered. Now I just moved the goal to 5 unbroken Chin ups.

Haha. That's somewhat true. I havent tried kipping. But for some reason I want to pull my knees up and then kick my feet to get more lift? Idk. Just happy I got my chin over the bar, TWICE. Now I gotta keep it up. I've been doing volume (25 chin ups or 5 sets of 5) 1 or 2x per week depending on the week. I think its helping me because even if I have to jump I do a strict slow, as I can, negative.

@weldertaco you going to pick-a-part to get an axle or what? You could always make yourself a junkyard style gym. I mean you are a welder right?
