Its like you are arguing we don’t need seatbelts because more people died per car accident 50 years ago. You can’t ignore the measures taken to minimize deaths and then compare the numbers.

Under or around $10 anyways. I’m going to wait until the price goes higher today and then do it. I’m just going to do a small order because I really don’t know what I’m doing. Any help/suggestions?

 

Took a different approach. I put in a sell order for 1/2 my SQQQ. At a price above my purchase price. Then if the market gets nasty volatile I am out pocketing some change. But still will follow the crowd with remaining 1/2.

 

I bought about $1K when they were at 9.23. I don’t think they’ll go lower than that. Not really sure where the cruise industry will go after this

 

Stay in or around the money. A $12 April 20 Put is currently at a $1.70 premium. That means in 10 days the underlying stock has to go below $10.30 before you'll see any profit. Every dollar it goes below that you make roughly $100 bucks. There's no real tricks to trading options.

 

I looked up puts the other week when a guy I know made a bunch of money off em. I kinda got a gist of it but I'm not confident enough to actually put money behind it.

 

You missed the entire point of the article. That's akin to saying I'm not reading up on anything health wise because im going to die anyway and all they are doing is trying to sell me supplements.

 

I didn't read it. I just noticed it was 3 years old, and made an unrelated comment about how funny it is to read old articles about the stock market.

 

Yup. I just need my OHI to go up 30 more cents to hit the sell button. I need to see what's been hammered and essnt hasn't and see what to sell to reposition when this mofo drops again.

 

Suggest reading it. It gives some insight on why the market ran up so high and why it may not be the same next time.
