    yeah I agree, I also really really enjoyed riding Sunday with Martin. nicer/dry weather made those trails really good. I'm liking Monte Sano more and more as I get better at riding.

    honestly....and this is going to sound nuts....

    but the dropper post has made the biggest difference. because when the seat is so low and out of my way I can easily catch myself on my feet or get off the bike faster. I did trails like sinks/goat/etc on my shitty GT and every time I nearly died was because I couldn't get off the saddle! yes there are less times of me having to worry about that now, with a better bike overall, but man that dropper post is the best!
