It's really not. When I was young my dad had a 2 day old calf it's momma wouldn't feed. We bottle fed it and raised it then ate it. Never thought anything of it, until you brought it up.

It's a conspiracy I'm telling ya. Gotta go all the way to a mechanic and shell out a ton of money just so we can tell you it's a cat code, tell the computer to shut up and send you on your way. God forbid it's a loose gas cap. For real though they do actually sell a tool on Amazon that plugs into the OBD port and sends all the information to an app on a smart phone. You can give commands to the computer through it too.

Oh my that's a jump. I believe ours was around the 200% range last week. Interesting statistics to see nonetheless.
I don't know. Never had any pets I've eaten before, but there's a first time for everything. I'm definitely planning on having chickens and I can't imagine letting them goto waste.

Damn. We’re way north though, closer to Nassau county which has much lower rates.

edit: and Jax is the largest city in the country by square footage. Way better than south Fla though. No spring breakers come to Jax!

When I was growing up we raised rabbits. We had like 80 at one time. I made pets out of all of them. When we'd sell one my grandad would have to kill it and skin it. I still don't hunt to this day. My dad and brothers love it but I'm too soft hearted I guess. I do fish but I let them go afterwards.

I remember when I was a kid, probably around 7, we had some chickens and mom and dad cut their heads off and mom fried them. That's just how I was raised and I don't think anything of it. My wife and I have 2 totally different outlooks on animals though she does hunt.

Came eye to eye with a few deer back in Louisiana on occasion. Like within 20 feet. Never could even mount the gun. Shot a bunch of squirrels and coons but that was self-defense...:anonymous:
Tried shooting duck once. Never hit a damn thing! Froze my ass off for nothing.

Isn't it ironic that I'm 58 years old, with graying hair and beard, but I still get carded at Walgreen's? I guess it's a store policy.

It's also ironic that I only use my drivers license to buy stuff to impair my driving ability.

My dad feels the same way about rabbits. It's the one animal that he has told me he'd never be able to raise for food.
I have hunted dove and deer way back when I lived in Texas. I don't know if I would hunt deer again without a little help initially. It's been too long and it's a lot of work.

Almost 60 here and hoping to enjoy a nice walk after my next meeting. Got to chat with my sister today and hoping to plan a little driveway beer time with them over the weekend.
